Becker Europa stereo
« on: July 18, 2006, 04:35:53 »
I have done a site search but couldn't find an answer....

2 power cables, one with a fuse...

2 sockets on the back plate - one a socket, the other a lug protruding backwards from the side plate

Any clues as to which cable goes where? I'd hate to short something...

thx

What colour are the cables?
Is the one with the fuse blue?
Could be feed for electric aerial when radio is switched on.

Blue one for aerial.
I connected the black one to the cigar lighter power so radio turns off with ign. (Personal preference)

I really need a schematic for the Becker Europa Stereo MU (1969?) with it's external amp.  Please feel free to email me at nycfolders@gmail.com

There is a tiny picture of the schematic for what is called the becker umrichter or external amp

Mine is likely from 1969

===============

If I joined the german radio museum for $25 we would have all schematics for this radio with amp (Becker Eruopa stereo" == they have schematics for most old radios

Below You can see them but the kicker is that you just can't enlarge till pay...

So why don't you pay?

The schematic has tubes (radio-valves) in it... you'll have a hard time sourcing these cheaply. Just use a generic amp circuit.

And please refrain from posting in 4 year old threads...

Thanks for your reply - sorry this is an old thread -- I am just looking for the wiring diagram for the plug (on the gray cable) that goes to the Amp -- or for a free schematic somewhere - I will use a different amp but I need to know how the output plug on the Becker Europa Stereo Mu is wired.
