I have one of these. Fun little cars. Nissan made only 20,000 of them in one year, 1991, for the Japanese market only. It was the most popular of four special cars they built from the Micra platform as a way to drum up excitement for the brand, which at the time was making mostly boring, boxy cars. It was really the first car that started the retro craze in the later '90s (PT Crusier, the retro T-Bird, BMW Mini, Chevy SSR, etc.).

They are very popular as imports in RHD countries, particularly in the UK and the rest of the former British Empire. I bought mine in Bristol several years ago and it's in the Netherlands now. Here's a pic of me with my Figaro in France last month, at a Figaro Club event.

I love my SLs, but I have to say that the Figaro gets more thumbs up and smiles than any other car I've owned. When I go to cars-and-coffee events, I always try to park next to a Ferrari, Lambo, Mazarati or Porsche and watch their owners frown as the little Fig draws all the attention! :)

Thanks for sharing that video. Hadn't seen that episode yet!

I visited Duncan Motors warehouses in rural Virginia last summer with my son. It's quite a sight! He has Figaros in all sorts of conditions and prices, and he doesn't restore them or do much other than clean them up before sale. So buyer beware. I think his prices are rather high, but they have been going up generally. And they sell at a premium in the USA. But you can find them much cheaper in the UK, you just have to be careful about the condition.
