Title: Part numbers help
Post by: swood1 on January 15, 2019, 14:13:37
I have really been struggling with obtaining correct part numbers for bits on my car due to this the easiest way of me obtaining spares has been just going onto the SLS website and buying them from the photos/diagrams.  I have managed to buy odd OEM parts (inner wings etc).  I have recently stripped the front suspension and basically want to replace all the perishable items within this assembly with OEM where possible.  I could pick and order these parts quickly with SLS using there own part numbering system.  I assume their parts numbers dont match with OEM part numbers?

Is there a possibility of some of the key pages within the blue book being added to the Technical Manual?  Or failing this does anyone have a copy of the larger blue book with all the part numbers in that they would be willing to sell?

I tried to access the EPC system but it is requesting an annual payment.

Steven,
Try the link below to find your part numbers. Works well for me.

I don't think the " big blue book" is much help for part numbers.

Yup, it's not perfect but helps a lot. Don't get to exited about the prices that they display. If you go direct to MB, it is usually a bit more.
