Finally got to roll my car outside for the first time since the body rolled in on a trailer. Headed to the body shop tomorrow to fix a dent in the fender top where a control arm fell off the garage shelf. I work on a ship and when it gets rough the rule is, “Nothing ever falls off the floor.” The same rule now applies in my garage.

Beautiful picture, beautiful color, Shvegel.
Is it 387 ?

Thanks Achim. Actually it is 350 Mittelblau.

We are doing a 250SL in that color. One of my favorites on a 190SL.

Beautiful!

that car looks a lot more stripped for a fender top repair.
Or did you have it all painted, and then the accident happened?
Oh man.

I cant wait to see it finished Pat and hope you will let me take it around the block so I can remember what it is like!

This is going to be a great car once put back together! Those alloys really work with the body color of the car. Amazing how contemporary the body design has remained.
