reasons to owning a Pagoda
« on: April 27, 2014, 08:12:44 »
Just came across a webpage of a restoration shop. Far from recommending anything they offer, I kind of liked their four reasons that may be linked with a Pagoda ownership.

I especially liked the point 2 and 4.  Now, I realise that these points pertain to every decent vintage car, but since they talk about Pagodas.... let's be it :)

Having said that, I found some flaws in the restoration they advertised (and understand is their proud show case). Ex: door upholstery is not adhering correctly, and the engine bay was not touched I guess.

Anyhow, hope you like what they say

Yes, well thought through. Although the 'family heirloom' part may be a stretch. I'm sure for some it holds true, but I would expect that, for the majority of owners, their offspring would not have the same passion for that particular car and would find themselves selling it on at some point. So interesting question for a poll would be: was your Pagoda handed down to you, or did you buy it from someone outside the family?
