Title: Aussie Summer
Post by: RobSirg on January 18, 2020, 05:51:03
Not all trees are burnt in Australia!

Photo from today’s drive East of Melbourne. ( more photos in ‘events’).

Great drive and company although the driver of the white car was not very social ......didn’t talk much 😊

Rob that day still keeps me motivated to finish mine...being the lone unknown driver in a "different model" mercedes somewhere in the distance cleverly hidden from that photo :)

Joe,

With all this work at home, a good time to get into it some more.  One day we will a

Thanks Garry!!!!

I'm at all the time but still a few years away. Certainly no complaceny these days and no excuses!!!! Just refurbished the front grille and air filter this week. Yes I'm doing things out of order but doing what I can depending which place I'm at!!!

Coffee sounds good too!!!!  :P

Stay healthy,

Rgds, Joe

Hope to catch up again soon Joe.

Good to hear you are still at it - all the little bits add up.

I just finished my Burgundy car after 5.5years. In fairness, if we didn’t have a car show that we were targeting ( that was subsequently cancelled) it might have been some years away before finishing.

Hate to admit this - but the Pandemic actually gave me the spare time needed to get the last bits sorted.

Hi Rob likewise !!!

Thats good news for you! What next?  :)
Sometimes I look at all the random bits in the boxes and think WTF!!!!! (I didn't pull it apart) but I try not to avoid those thought patterns as I actually thoroughly enjoy restoring every bit of it myself (maybe except for the front subframe - thats been a right old #$%$##@!!!).

Take care,

Joe

Guys,

Given the Corona lock down and now winter descending, when the veil lifts I think we need to have another Pagoda run.

...and a Corona or 10!

Let's hope sanity prevails and they allow us to just drive again soon. Some states are easing that restriction from tonight.
