Title: Finally a drive in 2022

We have had terrible weather here in Alabama this year, cold, heavy rain, wind, tornadoes, even a little snow.  We finally got a break this week with bright sunshine and daytime temperatures in the mid 60s (F).  Just in time to celebrate 53 years of Pagoda ownership. 

Yesterday afternoon I topped up my tank at the local Buc ee’s with 93 Octane ethanol-free fuel ($3.87/gallon) and continued on what turned out to be a 95 mile drive over some of the more twisty rural roads that the hills of central Alabama offer.  Great for spirited Pagoda driving with the minimal traffic experienced!

I made only one stop as I neared home, the Sonnet House, a wedding venue in Leeds, where I took a couple of photos.  Overall a great start to my 2022 driving season.

I will rub the weather in a bit, I am getting my Pagoda out for a top down drive this Sunday to take Kate out for Valentines lunch. Weather forecast is for Sunny and 38c temp.

 It was also 38 degrees here today - 38 F.  :(
