Hellow everybody!
I'm looking for the wiring diagram for my car and I only can find one on the technical manual of this site, but I don't know if that one is for a US version and no legend is shown there!
Can anyone help me on this?
Thank you in advance for your comments

Here is a diagram for a 280SL from 1970 for the standard (Euro?) cars.
[removed] Use link in the next msg
The size can be enlarged by clicking on the diagram image.
I have not seen a wiring diagram especially for US Version cars.

The legend is here: http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/WiringDiagram
Do not use the link that Richard provides as it links directly to the diagram only. Always use the link above instead! It also links to the Connectors Section.
We do not have wiring diagrams specifically for the US, so the emissions control stuff is not on there... if someone has that on a diagram, mail me and we'll put it up.

I have the Service Manual Library Volume 4 (2 CD set) from MB USA. (Edit: It is now also to be found in the Tech Manual)
This contains a better diagram for the late 280SL, US-version with Automatic.
The additional components for the auto are shown, also the correct setup for Haz. warning flasher, and transistor ignition.

Need some help with a 69 Euro 280SL that I had apart. My electrical connectors are missing and I need to figure out which terminals each wire goes on. Checking the connector diagram in the technical section yielded a chart stating - 'All Models Except 280SL'. Where can I find the 280SL connector chart? Need to know which wires go on the middle (of three) relay on the drivers side and the lock out / reverse switch mounted on the firewall. If the connector diagram is not available can someone check on there car?

You'll find that 98% of the connectors listed in said document are also valid for a 280SL. Mercedes-Benz didn't change much if they didn't need to.

The number of terminals was different on one and the other connector wasn't listed at all.

Sorry, it's in the 2% then... :-[

Here are the pictures of the two places I need help with the wiring. If someone can take a look on your car and let me know which wires go to which terminals, that would be awesome.

Here's what's on my car (1970 280SL US Version, emissions stuff removed). You'll notive I have a different firewall switch. However, of the 6 pins only the four closest to the actuator are wired (see pictures). I've taken a photograph with the plug connected so that you can see where they go. Be careful when wiring up your socket, as it's easy to do it the wrong way round.
The relay plug is wired as shown... Now let's hope the wire colours match up!
