Installing the heater radiator
« on: April 27, 2024, 16:50:18 »
I'm in the process of installing the heater radiator in place of a total piece of junk AC, but I noticed that SLS showed what looks like a dog bone connecting from the radiator valve to the control lever. Where can I get one since the heater didn't have one when I had removed it from the car due to it being deactivated.

Buds Benz here in the States indicates that a person can contact them for non-listed parts. They might have one from a car in their boneyard.

Or perhaps someone here with a parts car might be of assistance.

Thanks for the advice. I'm ordering both L&R ball ends and then get a 5mm rod and cut both L&R threads. trying to find a dog bone for the heater valve seams to be a bridge to far.

In the picture is my rod when I removed it.  The dimension is center to center ball-end. That should get you close. I don't think you need left / right hand threads. AFAIR you can't adjust the rod once installed.
