Janus Cars reborn
« on: February 25, 2012, 02:16:47 »
At the Los Angeles Art Show last month the organizers tried to create a bit of hoopla by displaying two versions of hybrid cars.
Some wise cracks called one the "Driving apart" car and the other "During divorce".  ;)

They reminded me of a car that was built shortly after WW2 in my hometown by Zündapp, a well regarded motorcycle company.  It was called Janus 750 and in contrast to those zwitters at the art show was street legal.

Hello Alfred,
You jogged my memory back 50+ years to when I was in High School and  my best friend had a Zundapp  motor cycle. We had a lot of fun with that bike. thanks for the memory:-)
