I hope I can post W112 for sale here...
My insurance agent asked me to help him see if there is any interest here in what he has for sale. In case of any questions, I will put you through to him. I have no commission or no other benefits from this - just a help for the fellow classic cars fan.
The car went through restoration. There are a few details missing (e.g. steering wheel). Once the FIP, that has just arrived from rebuilding by Bosch service, is put in place - the car is ready to drive (was running before, they jus decided to send FIP to Bosch).
I am enclosing datacard and a couple of pictures. The owner is asking PLN 250 000 or ca EUR 60 000. for further talks.
Again, if any questions - I will put you through to the owner. I know very little about W112 and about this particular car.

Pawell, I am surprised you didn't buy it !

:)
But seriously - what do you think about it? I am really not into 111/112. I like them, particularly cabrio, but do not want to own one. But I can provide some feedback to the guy.

Looks like a very nice car to me !!
300SE is top of the range but seen as complex (expensive to maintain) due to air suspension and older 3 litre motor when compared to later 280SE.
Why does he sell it? the car looks loved.

Good to know your opinion, I know it is based just on a couple of pictures, thank you!
He is on his way to some classic 911. Made up his mind on motoring preferences...

Pawell, the car looks great, clean and in good condition.
Theperfect ones seem to fetch high numbers at the big auctions. Who wouldn't love to own/drive an MB with that Gullwing derived engine! But as PeterPortugal said they are expensive to maintain.
That flat distributor cap alone costs a fortune.
In the pic the air suspension seems to have drooped down. Has it been sitting long?

Thank you for your comments. I am passing them on to the owner.
I do not know a lot about the car, but I know from the owner that the air suspension works (I asked that, actually, semed like a key question to me). I am not sure if the "low" status on the picture is a result of the car standing long.
But in any case - the price quoted is for fully operational car.

Even though there was not an extraordinarily long que for this car, just for order here: it is sold.
