Car Guy Christmas Present
« on: December 26, 2023, 19:00:02 »
Received a book "America's Greatest Road Trip, Key West to Deadhorse, Alaska" by Tom Cotter- noted automotive writer, as a present.

With almost 200 pages (8 1/2x11 with small print) of stories about cars, people and towns across America/Canada, it is excellent reading.

While only including one Mercedes Benz story (1958 300S Cabriolet) it still has great stories of conversations and cars along the 9000 mile trip, and one I would recommend.

The trip from Key West to Deadhorse is a "big thing" in the motorcycle community, especially among the "Iron Butt" afficionados. I know several guys who have done it. Not my thing.
