£ 400K plus a donor car, just a crazy price to me, but i expect there's plenty who'll pay it

There are two of them:
- click adjustment knob - responsible for idle adjustment and revs up to 1500-1700rpm
- full range adjustment - responsible for adjustment across rev spectrum, also idle

Both are on the pictures here: https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Fuel/Injection

As a Full Member you also have access to Linkage Tour, which is describing idle adjustment procedure.

I am also enclosing picture of my FIP with marked screws.

There is also a screw in the throttle, it is tempting, but it is not for mixture adjustment. It is just a stop screw for stopping throttle in certain position as closed (Linkage Tour explains how to do it).

Photo Gallery / Bank Holiday visit to the Ace

Went to the Ace Cafe in north London on Bank Holiday Monday (6th of May) and met up with some other MB Club members.

Some of you may notice that my car is now "European-ised"...

Remove your speedometer cable from your transmission. Insert a flat bladed screw driver into the speedometer drive area and turn your driveshaft by hand. If you can turn your driveshaft without the screwdriver moving, it's loose.

Electrical and Instruments / Re: Turn Signal Relay Buzzing?

Relooked at the tech manual.  I take that back out the Relay.  I guess Bosch just makes a ton of them.  I assume this one is not of the same quality so I am going to find a Bosch.

General Discussion / engine stumble on deceleration
« Last post by 96witton on Today at 16:00:16 »
Hi, my 1969 280sl runs great. the only issue I seem to have is when I am decelerating (lower speeds, under braking) the engine stumble's. I have new injectors and have preformed a linkage setup check. I am thinking of going with an electronic ignition system? any suggestions? p.s. the car pulls very well and idel's great.
thanks Jim
