An island find
« on: May 06, 2015, 18:09:03 »
Not a barn but island find. A nice series of youtube videos showing this rescued car.

In fact for a rescue, it looked good enough to me to be fine with just a bit of cleaning.

When you open his one, the other parts will show up for viewing.

I don't have time to look at these now (traveling) but will look forward to seeing the other videos.
Original....? The hubcaps have been replaced/painted. Still appears very re-findable!

Interesting videos.  Is this guy a member here?

For what it's worth, the island find appears to have originally been black or some similarly dark color, and later painted red.  The dash is still the darker color, as is the engine compartment and insides of the doors.  And the rocker panels are body color, not dark gray.  But, hey, who am I to talk.  It's still nicer than my cars.....
