Hi all,
If anyone has a 230Sl radio delete plate I'd be most interested.
Best regards,
Joe

These are available from Authentic Classics - here is the link for what they have, including the fasteners you might need:

Thanks Jonny for taking the time to do that. At $350usd ($500 aud) I've been looking for alternatives. If I could scan the 230sl emblem I'll make my own. Or even if someone has one if they could take the dimensions I'll scan the boot emblem (which is bigger and reduce it) then 3-d print it.
Best Rgds, Joe

Joe,
They occasionally come up on Ebay as the blanking plate without the model number, the plate fits all i think.
Getting the small 230sl designation may be more difficult but there are a few of the regular sellers out there that have them.

Hi,
I would rather look for a radio even if it's broken than spend AU $500 on a dead piece of metal.
Even frame sets for Becker vintage radios are cheaper: https://www.koenigs-klassik-radios.de/en/car-radios/mercedes-benz-1/mb-230sl/becker-chrome-frame-set-flat-design-for-becker-europa_33154_5228.

I don't think the plates are the same size for all models. If you look at the Authentic Classics site, they list two different sizes - so make sure you have the correct size, I think the small ones for the 230 SL.
