I respectfully disagree with decision to delete the thread because some members felt it was becoming political. I found the thread was not political, it was informative because it shows how different countries deal with the energy transition and the effects it has on local people, with or without EV's.

I would like to suggest to re-open this thread, if necessary in the "Way off topic" section.

I think that those people who suggested to Mike Mizesko that the thread was becoming political were exactly those who made it political. I think it is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps we should create a simple poll, asking if people want this topic resurrected, or not...

Oh and do note, I can unlock this post here as an Admin. This is the first time during all my years of membership I am abusing this power.
