Title: Holley Retrobright Headlights
Post by: OysterSlayer on December 16, 2022, 21:41:40
Has anyone tried the Holley Retrobright LED Headlights in their w113? I'm in need of an upgrade.

No. I used Narva LED for the upgrade. They were simple plug and play and make a HUGE safety difference when driving at night.
Keep the old bulbs to revert back to original if the next owner prefers, or if you are showing the car.
See photos.

The Narva lights look like the same items, maybe just branded Holley here in the USA

Most probably. For a USD$100, plus and hours work, you can’t go wrong. You can always change them back and take them back if you don’t like them.

Hi Dave - did you have to use an adaptor or the P45T bulb base on our cars?

No adaptor required. It was a straight fit. Plug and play. See photo.

Thank you

If you can get a pair of Cibie, Hella, etc. H-4 headlamps to replace your U.S. sealed beams, there ought to be an H-4 version of the LED lamp that would work.

When I went to buy mine here in Australia I checked the reviews and the Varda H4s' had an extremely high early failure rate so I opted for the Lightfox H4s'.
