;D Hi Folks,
The mind set of this SL Group membership is Sterling (Platinum, if you like). I am so very happy that I have, not only my Ingrid (my ((new to me))280SL), but have, in this membership, what is the finest Pagoda Support Group in the world - that responds to members questions - within minutes............. WOW!!
Thanks, Hank

I'd definitely go with Platinum what with the way sterling is going! :P

If Sterling was still backed by sterling, it would be way up!

Hey ya, Sterling,,,,,,Schermling !!! What I appreciate about the Pagoda SL Group is that it's all about sharing the joys of loving of these amazing cars, and the fact that egos (and we all have them) don't get in the way of new friendships forming, or old relationships enduring. As for the level of "support, help, guidance or shoulders to cry on (when needed)", the Pagoda folks are absolutely amazing in the almost "fire department" manner of being there for us when needed!!! Seriously, without this Group, ownership of my Ingrid would be nice - - but bland, and not be nearly as enjoyable and interesting as it is.
Thanks, Hank

I'll speak for all -- hear ye, hear ye Hank -- it truly is something special we have here. You included.

Heck I am coming up on 11 full days logged on since I registered in 2009. There must be something special about you all; I haven't spent that much time with most of my extended family in that same time period. I really need to get my priorities straight, nah I'll keep burning my evenings with the w113 group. Thanks all!

Welcome and thanks, we appreciate your enthusiasm Hank.

Hey all, thanks for the warm & cuddly welcome. At every juncture, I've enjoyed the interaction with all the people that I've been thrown into the Pagoda barrel with. I'm not a techie or a mechie, but I am an a true enthusiast. The next BLACKLICK event seems like my next, proper and enjoyable "MB life experience". I plan on being there - - and I'll bring enough marinade for a West African grill treat that will blow some minds!!!
You folks are wonderful - -
Cheers, Hank

I too echo Hank's thoughts. Having owned one of these cars longer then most of you (almost 45 years now if you count my 250SL), it has been a real joy to find this forum and hang out with all of you folks that share the love for this great automobile. When I was younger, I fiddled a bit with the car's mechanical bits but now a days I am content to just keep it nice and shiny and leave the dirty work to "Ernie", my mechanic. I still find myself, after all these years, just going out into the garage for no other reason then to admire Mr.Bracq's creation
My hat is off to all the fine people that contribute so much to this forum!
