What are you having done, Larry? Must be pretty serious if you're not doing it, or is it cosmetic?
My car still very firmly on stands. At least, it was when I left it.

Having my paint 'refreshed' and those annoying little things fixed like the driver's door
mirror in the wrong place. Bonnet (hood) now fits as it should. Whole car should be the
same colour instead of 4 different shades of silver :)
Following your adventure with the back axle James, getting close now should be up and running very soon ;)
ps like the size of your garage :)

Sounds great. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
As for the garage, I'm afraid my poor old girl has to share her home with some ugly, mean ass-kicking sisters... ;D

...and not wanting to mislead, this is what they look like with their turrets facing the right way, doing the business as opposed to being fixed (sorry, Larry, couldn't resist; be sure to show Norma! (and say Hi from us))

Is that your company car James?, wasn't a Mondeo on the list!
Larry I look forward to seeing your car, I didn't realize it needed such work

It's one of them. Believe it or not, the other is a Mondeo! Horrible thing, but goes forever on a tank of diesel. Unlike the other one, which does about 300km on 1000 litres.
Pay your taxes!

That's what I call security! Good old British steel - they don't like it uppum. ;)

Hi James,
I thought about your poor old girl when I came across a photo documenting what you really like to do with an MK10. :o
She may be old but she is lucky! ;D ;D

Ahhh, the old Chieftan tank. I did my first ever tank exercise on one of those. Terrible things.
I once drove over a car in a (Challenger) tank during the Balkans war. (No one in it). It didn't go quite like the photo you posted below. Instead, the car somehow got wrapped around the track and basically flew up under what could be considered the mud guard and became wedged between the hull of the tank and the track. It took ages to get the damn thing out. Nothing like the movies.
