Hi all,
Following on from the last post in the electrical forum, before I go out and risk buying parts, I wondered if anyone had successful upgraded their headlights to LED from the American sealed beam bulbs headlights? (Excuse my incorrect technical terms). Please see attached picture.
Thanks so much

Do not know if you can get these in England but they are great.

These work well

Interesting that it says "Off road use only" on the box.

That doesn't affect the light ;)

Not that I want to buy them--don't like driving much at night, but here's something to consider...

LED in a sealed beam. So Daniel Stern's biblical sized discussion and warning of optics, lenses, size and shape of the LED, etc. etc. is all moot.
Just get the bright LED in a sealed beam setup where presumably that's all taken care of.
I think they cost about USD $165 each.

Chris,
Thanks again for your steer.
Replaced the headlights with the various bits recommended in your link. What a difference, wow.
Will do the rest of the lights in due course too.
Thanks again
Best
