Title: check valve for brake booster
Post by: jb280sl on June 19, 2019, 18:12:57
I have had a vacuum leak test done on my early 1969 280SL, chassis 11408, and it appears that I need a check valve that goes between the brake booster and the intake manifold. Does anyone know where I might get this part. My repair place says that it isn't available and I need to rebuild.

Almost any vacuum check valve that fits that hose size will do.

Something doesn't seem right.

I thought these were very common and very available.  You certain your shop was referring to this check valve?  This is the one within the line from booster to intake manifold.
