Better still where/how does it fit on the soft top.
They are handed. This one is for the right.

Hi Naj,

These are the "feet" for the soft top.  They help pad the top where it rests (or comes close) on the chrome caps of the soft top.
The only way to install these is with the soft top removed and "on the bench".

There are 2 small screws that hold this rubber pad in place.  The way you install these screws is to use a needle punch and make 2 small holes in the rubber pads.  Then you screw in the screws, sinking the screw heads into the rubber pad and below the surface.  These are installed correctly when you can't see the heads of the screws and the pads align straight with the metal tabs on the soft top frame.  All this becomes more clear with the top off and with one old pad removed....
I didnt think these rubber pads were still available?  Last I heard, these small little gold pieces were about $40US each!
