Can you elaborate on what you are calling a pipe wrench and what it fits.

What I consider a pipe wrench is not a tool I would use on my car.

It is the "channel-lock" pliers, or whatever you want to call them. In Germany it is often called a "Wasserpumpenzange", which doesn't sound like an automotive tool either. Different countries/languages have sometimes rather strange names for the same item. The Heyco 300.

It is also called a "slip joint" set of pliers, not an adjustable wrench.

The proper 300 type are available, but the kink in the ointment is finding a set with the Mercedes star.

Here is the link to Authentic Classics - https://www.authenticclassics.com/Slip-Joint-Pliers-Mercedes-Heyco-300mm-p/auth-002523.htm
Attached is a screen shot of the pliers they have available.

There is a pair of pliers out there sometimes posted on eBay for the 113 - they have a part number embossed starting with 129, these are NOT correct for the Pagoda, they are later and they are smaller.

You are looking for some hard to find pieces.  There are reproductions of all but if you’re a stickler about originality all are slightly off.  The slip joint pliers (water pump) with the correct star (not the 129 type) are few and far between. I’ve collected several pairs within the last five years so you just have to be vigilant.  New gas caps with the star are available but extremely costly, especially the double sided keyed version which is correct for a 1970 model. The repro’s which are more affordable lack the star but are otherwise correct.  The fuse pliers are available in the “male” version but these would not have been used originally.  The originals are seldom for sale!

I would approach this with the realization that it’s going to take time.  You’ll do it eventually but not overnight.

...and then there is also the debate about the shape of the "mouth/grip". Whether it is more oval or angular.
