Retro radio with iPhone compatibility

Any thoughts on best source for reliable attractive radio for 1971 s280sl with iPhone connection for music replay?

If you want to stay period correct, the best solution is to go for a NOS Becker radio (do a search with Becker as a keyword), and  ipod adapter.
Needless to say this is not going to be bluetooth compatible. ;D

Becker used to sell a modern version of the Mexico with bluetooth and gps nav capabilities, but t seems to be NLA.

What the other guy said.  Most pinstripe beckers have a plug in the back and you can buy a cable on ebay that lets you plug in an mp3 player.  Doesn't do anything else except let you input audio through a 1/8" jack.     Don't mix early becker with modern speakers - you won't like the sound.  Early becker with early speakers sounds great.
