Throttle plate wear and 123 ignition timing

My question to begin with : How does throttle plate wear influence (123) ignition timing and should there be any correction in timing setting ?

My situation : owning a 230SL with a 051 distributor and corresponding throttle housing with the vacuum bore just behind the throttle plate.
Canged it several years ago to a standard 123 -R-V ignition with a blue coil
Due to wear of the throttle plate over the years , which is not uncommon to most of our W113's, there is now additional air "leaking" in the intake manifold. New throttle plates are NLA.
Air/fuel relation at idle is no problem since this amount of air leak  is relatively small in comparison with the air supplied via the throttle house bypass hose / air screw to the intake manifold and thus adjustable by the air screw.
However the leaking air via the worn throttle plate is at idle conditions flowing over the vacuum bore thus a possible cause for an undesired change in ignitionsetting. Correction necessary in timing?
Am I wrong  or should I just use the  38 degr. at 3000 rpms setting (vacuum connected) and disregard a "disturbed" timing at idle?

Anyone having an idea or thoughts about this ?

If the engine idles smoothly at the correct timing setting at 3,000 rpm, I would not worry about it.

What is the ignition timing at idle when you set it to 38 degrees advance @ 3,000 rpm, out of curiosity.

Can't say at this moment ,still some work in progress...
Set the 123 recently to an static timing of 6 Degr. BTDC. Will see what that brings. Didn't start her up sofar to adjust it with a stroboscopic light.

If you are worried about the leak at the throttle body, why don't you put a vacuum gauge in line and see how much vacuum at idle you actually have?
depending on your 123, you can read it of the app display. 38 degrees @ 3000 sounds like a bit much with regular gas.
