Is this a 113 transmission?
« on: April 10, 2009, 14:22:50 »
Hi,
I bought this on ebay last might because it looked like the proper dropped shifter link transmission. I am in the process of converting to a Getrag 265 5 speed and I need the front snout casting which is NLA.    I figured if all else failed having a spare 4 speed might be a good idea.

That is a transmission that will bolt up to a 113. there is no way of telling what internal gearing it may have, the number shown is a casting number for the housing so you cant tell much from that.
It looks like the rear housing has a good speedo drive (usually broken) but the round hole in the bell housing is a hatchet job modification.

Thanks AL!  Luckily if I need it I have another bell housing. It will be nice to have a backup plan since my car is an auto and I really don't want to go back.
