Hi all,
Last week-end, Dimitri drove from Maine to DC and then we proceeded to Florida in my Pagoda to attend the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. On the Saturday morning the MBCA gathered many cars during the "Cars & Coffee" session and there were several Pagodas, including group member Ray's green 250SL. I don't know if the owners of the other Pagodas are group members. They were all very nice cars in any case! Apart from Raymond, we also met group members Chuck Taylor and Peter Lesler during the event. Balow are a few pictures:

always please to watch pics with well maintained Pagodas, but the pleasure is even more complete if there is something special like the roof rails on it. Thanks

Thanks for sharing ... Hope to make the trip to Florida some day with my "Blue Tornado" she was originally shipped from Germany to Florida before she immigrated to cold Canada. :)

Speaking of something special, below is a picture of a home made car with a Rolls Royce airplane V12 Griffon engine in it. Quite impressive!

very special indeed ;D
qualifies for both on- and off-topic...

Great experience. Looks like nice opening of the 2014 season.

Thanks. It was really great. We saw some really wonderful cars. Just to give you an idea, There were so many Ferrari Daytonas around that they were "common", if that makes any sense. We also saw a Miura. I also saw two Iso Grifos. I never drove one, but I like them. Of course they were many more wonders, pre-war incredible cars. Here are some pictures: Blitzen Benz, Bugatti Electron re-creation, Type 37...

As per the name of the event, I assume that coffee had to be as great as the exposed cars??? Although it is hard to believe given my coffee sampling experience in the US :)

Yes, that's strange. Pictures are straight in my computer, I wonder why they end up crooked on the forum. I don't know how to fix that.
-
If you use Windows, it does that... it will rotate the picture if it contains camera sensor orientation information, but only for viewing. You'll need to make sure the picture has correct orientation before you upload it.

I'm sorry I didn't run into you folks. I was workiing video for the event for all three days. You may see a bit of our work on Car Crazy this coming season as we provided some footage of the event from Sunday.
