Title: Slanted headlights

Hello everybody,

The headlights on my 1963 230SL are slightly slanted i.e. bottom more towards the center of the car than the top. Is this normal ?

Yes indeed, the headlight units are slanted. The word "slightly" is important however. And important that angle is the same left vs. right side. Has to do with the skill of the person welding the new wings (fenders), or headlight housings, onto the car, during restoration work.
