Leather skiving
« on: April 02, 2015, 04:25:02 »
Anyone looking to thin (skive) their leather material for the interiors, GAHH will do their own material. They accept maximum panel dimensions of 14" x 36" and charge about $15/panel. Just ship it in and they will send it back. The cognac hides I bought from them were about 1.5mm thick. As some know, you need much thinner leather to be able to do the various parts with tricky curves. They sent it back about .5 to .7mm thick and it worked beautifully.

Not sure if they will do competitors leather, but could check.
