Title: New Toy

I sold my 911 - it was too much of a treasure and I need a toy, already being blessed with a treasure!
I had the 964 for about 18 months and sold it for a clear £10k+ profit (after all expenses but fuel) and so the hunt started for a cheap, fun runaround at the bottom of it's depreciation curve. My car, school run, has CFO approval and all that

260 odd imported to the UK, 4000 made worldwide
340 odd bhp, AMG 3.2 v6 supercharged engine

£6,500! - So it's a "free car"

Has some surface rust in the usual places (job for Stick...), patchy history (although service book is stamped up). The PO smoked with is a PITA but we will use all manner of chemicals on that.

James, very nice little hot rod! I had a 99, but it was the regular 230 with the supercharger.

Just got back from a trip to NYC.  Hotel was next to a parking lot where a company charged $100 for 3 laps around an autocross course in either a new Benz SL, a Ferrari 458 Spider, or a Lambo Aventador.  Woke us up at 7:30am both Sat and Sunday.  Didn't think it was worth it, and was pissed that they woke us up.

While still waiting for my 230 to by finished a new toy I ordered in June arrived last week.
