I just replaced my old starter with a new/reman Bosch SR59X. I haven't hooked up the wiring to my also new Bosch Alternator (with internal regulator). I was wondering why the new SR59X (see picture) had additional terminals at the end of the starter. My old one did not have any terminals on the back end of the starter. Only connections were at the solenoid. Any idea for what these terminals are for and where would they be connected to?
Also, am I correct that the B+ terminal wire from alternator goes directly to the starter solenoid large terminal where the battery cable also hooks up to? And the grey wire that goes to the rotary light switch in the cabin, is hooked up to one of the smaller side terminals on the solenoid?
I just want to make sure that the wiring for the alternator and the starter is done correctly. FYI, I have already gotten the appropriate thicker gauge wires to replace the aging grey and red cloth wires per advice.

Dear McBenz
The connections should be like this:
All terminals are numbered, so
T30 goes to the battery cable and also to the red cable coming from alternator (B+)
T50 goes to the grey cable coming from your ignition switch
T16 is an optional connection that should be routed to the positive post of your ignition coil.
Take a closer picture of the back to confirm my saying.

great, thank you for clearing that up. I guess those additional terminals on the end of the starter housing threw me off. Thanks again for your help.
