Title: Pagoda World # 15
Post by: Norm on August 28, 2014, 02:48:54
The latest issue of Pagoda World landed in my mailbox this afternoon.

Great Reading!

The writing made me feel like I was part of the 50th anniversary celebrations around the world.  The international gatherings also makes one understand the need for incorporation.

Thank you  Waqas, Peter, Garry, Ray, Stan, Andrew, Mike and James.  Great stories and great pictures.

Real proud of the work Garry contributed. The Australian celebration was too cool.  It looked  like from the photos that Garry has the antenna on his 230 SL on the rear drivers side fender also. Makes me feel better about mine.  I met Garry at the Joe Alexander/ Black Lick gathering a few years back. A long way to travel for us Pagoda owners. Thanks again Garry!

Thanks Michael.  The car came out of the factory with radio Option 516 fitted as a Tourist Delivery for a Sydney woman who went there and picked it up I believe. So factory fitted with aerial in rear passenger side (RHD) fender.  Bet you that makes you feel even better.

Looking forward to catching up with many more again in UK in ten days or so.  It sure is a long way to go for the weekend :D

Just found my copy in the Mailbox --- nice Sunday reading on this final weekend of our Parisian Summer.     Nice history and great stories from around the world.

Thanks to all of you who participated and put this together for our group.  Very much appreciated.

Now we want to begin Pagoda World 16.  We need your input!  If you have a story idea, just write it!  We have folks who can help polish it a bit.  If you have photos or even story ideas, please send them in.

One big story next will be the election of new Board members.  If you enjoy this forum, if you would like to see this great brotherhood continue and grow, if you'd like to have fun at an event, then for cryin' out loud volunteer!  It doesn't take a huge amount of time, it just takes a real interest in being part of a community that other car enthusiasts envy.

Hi Ray,

Will think about writing an article. In the meantime, where can folks 'register' their interest in becoming a Board member?

They can send me an email or a PM.  The Board has graciously appointed me to handle the upcoming elections.

Cheers,
