has anyone installed gullwing seats in a 113?
they look like they might provide more lateral stability...

i have never installed gullwing seats but a man who could help you
is kevin o keefe on 00441883626721 he restores gullwings and recently restored my pagoda interior so is well placed to offer advice.give him a call 8)

A nice set of gullwing seats may cost you as much as a W113!

I think that if you were to take your car to an upholstery shop that does hot rods may be able to take your seat and increase the bolster.  You would probably save yourself some money than trying to get the 300sl seats.

The Mechatronic seats are fitted to the driver for maximum support.  With the seat cushion they do away with the springs and use use modern seat foam.
