It does, but for some reason defaults to departure on Monday, not Sunday.

Yes, those are just the blocked days. Just change the departure date to Sunday.

The Hotel just added another 30 rooms to our block for the $170 for Thursday night, because had had sold them out. Mostly Double queens. They added more for Sunday too.

We had a bunch of registrations this weekend. Please check the dates and register as soon as you can. This gives us better visibility for the events.

We are almost 25% subscribed for attendees after 2 days of Registration. Please don't get left out. this will be fun. Capacity is limited to 125 due to Restaurants. I suppose we could just order Subway or Pizza....

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see anything even the least bit confusing here.

Go back down to Mike Mizesko’s first post and he has two links. The first link is for the Event Brite page. Read the posting, and it tells you how to get into the Event Brite page; that is to register for Pagodafest. if you want to come to Pagodafest, you must be a full member and you must register—very simple.

The second link is for the hotel. That is to reserve a room at the hotel. Reserving a hotel room, and attending the event are two completely separate and distinct items. Go to that link, or call the hotel directly to make a room reservation. A room reservation will not register you for the event. All it does is reserve a room at the hotel…

So, unless you are local to the Chicago area and staying in your own home, you will probably need to make two separate registrations. One for a hotel room, and one for the event itself.

I'm not 100% sure I can attend but have booked a room just in case for the moment. Does anyone know what the "everbrite" charge is? I only ask because it says that their cost is not refundable but I don't know how much of the registration cost that is.

I just registered myself but I didn’t see anything for spouses. Is there a spouse program and separate rate or are the spouses the same $435?

Since much of the pricing is for food and drinks, it applies to both members and spouses individually. We do have a "clean" comic for Friday Night.

Not sure of your route, but maybe we can caravan and meet you in Toledo area.

We don't have the spouse thing set up yet, but were thinking of a Frank Lloyd Wright tour of his studio and maybe the Robie House. About 20 mins away, but parking is on-street and difficult. maybe a bus or Ubering? We are trying to stay out of downtown with our pricey cars. Reports of carjacking in the city makes us nervous.

Can't wait to see your new color.

25 Pagodas already. A bunch of folks from both coasts and Europe as well as Australia.

There has be a ton in the Chicagoland area.

This will be a gas. Premium, of course.

Thanks Mike. The cost makes sense. Not sure if I will have enough miles on my car to trust driving it that far yet or just trailering it. Really looking forward to seeing you and everyone else there!

Approaching wits end here: Yes, does seem simple, but access to the process is denied me at the very portal, which is to say neither the password given for this event's registration (referencing Paul, the guy who first envisioned it with a conventionally shaped top) nor my own Eventbrite registration password work to provide entrance into the process, though I have been allowed into the hotel's registration site. What am I missing, please?
