I have been a full paying member for a couple of years. I am restoring a 230SL,a 250SL, and 2 280 SL's as my hobby. I am wondering if anyone can direct me to a diagram web site or even just labeling of where the sets of reproduction decals should be installed. The are the brand decals the warning decaks and the lubrication/tire pressure etc decals. I have two packages of the decals some are common sense
lije the windshield and brake boster the others are more challenging. My e-mail is: vcombe@manningadvisors.com thanks in advance Vic

Johnny B,
I have a USA 1969 280SL and am looking for a diagram or such for putting new decals on my car. Seems you might have some information on that and if so could you send it to me at three30@gmail.com? I am a full member.
Thank you!

Also take a look in the technical manual, under "Engineering Tags"
-
are you wanting the dealer label for liberation of the rear axle oil change? or the check engine oil that sits to the left of the tire pressure foil label?
I have both and if I can be of help they are not expensive.
Sincerely
Bob Geco

The technical manual is the best source;
These were the ones I referred to as missing:
Two I can think of off the top not shown, are the small rectangular, white
background, red border with blue type for the change of oil in the rear dif.
this should be on the A pillar between the door hinges. There is also a
small circular sticker on the top of the automatic transmission dipstick, up
to about VIN 11500 or so (then it change to black rubber).
Bob Geco also mentioned the small "check oil" decal inside the trunk lid by the tire air pressure label

Speaking of labels...does any one else have a 230SL and the label in the soft top compartment says "toroughly" not "thoroughly"?
