Bosch Service Bulletin
The Bosch Service bulletin (attached below in several pages) allows for the removal of the Vacuum Dashpot from automatics... After this pump adjustment, the vacuum dashpot can be removed and its vacuum line connection at the throttle body plugged.
Note: This adjustment to the injection pump can only be performed by a qualified Bosch injection pump service provider.
