The posts with photos are those that I am often back to watch. Timeless experience. And the ones from dark blue Pagoda in Sidney are just great.
Hope that salty air in Sidney did not eat up that lovely one... ;D

I like that blue, there seem to be no end of different blues.  While both mine are blue they appear quite different.  Look forward to seeing them together for a closer comparison

Not by the sea, however, at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side (if you peak thru the trees you can see the American Falls in the last photo). It was a nice evening just before dusk, as I passed thru Niagara Falls on my way back home from Williamsburg, VA Sept. 17 last.  I'm always amaised how the blue colour of my car changes in different light. After a nice dinner it was a nice night drive back home for the rest of a very enjoyable trip.

Hi Rolf

Know that road very well.   Never had the privilege of seeing it via pagoda though, generally in a rental car.    Like it a bit further along from Whirlpool to Niagara on the lake
 .
cheers

Hi Rob,

This photo is not by the sea, however, at the airport where I parked the blue tornado in front of the Canadair CL-30/T-33 Silver Star ~ CT-133 Silver Star.

Turned out to be a funny picture ... almost as if the blue tornado is trying to give the CT-133 a lift (knowing you are in the business related to aircraft I know you enjoy this one) :)

Blue Pagoda hasn't seen as much sea of late!
Plenty on the work front.  Need to find a few new spots by the Sea.  Still looking forward to doing that Great Ocean Rd down your way one day

I quickly looked at thumbnail and saw the plane over the pagoda and thought how good is that timing!  Oh its' permanently ther.  Where is that?  We could probably do a page of "Pagoda' next to big things thread
In Australia when you drive thru small towns the have "The Big " things like a giany banana, giant rock, sheep, or tennis racket etc etc, even a sunmarine in land  Can't say I have parked the pagoda next to them but maybe!

Hi Rob,

We have it permanently displayed at the London, Ontario International Airport. Go to the link below and scroll down.

Here ------> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadair_CT-133_Silver_Star

As for big things, we have the same in Canada. Most small towns have some sort of BIG roadside attraction, one example from just one Province can be seen in the link below,

Here -----> http://www.roadsideattractions.ca/alberta.htm

Now back to the topic "Blue Pagoda by the sea" :)

Looks stunning! 16 years is a long time but looks like the effort paid off. Enjoy your car and hope the weather remains as nice as it is in the photo so you can get in a few top down drives before those cold Michigan days set in.

Looks fantastic.   You seem to have similar color specs as my blue pagoda and interior. It's a dark midnight blue and depending how the light is sometimes will appear black? I like the white walls   And the parch interior is a bright. Combination.
I hope your fall weather lasts  as waiting 16 years I'm sure next spring can't come soon enough for you.  Post some interior shots  aswell

Cheers rob :)
