Hi Group,

Is there a difference between the automatic transmission from a 230sl and a 280sl. Are they interchangeable?

Hello joel j,

Yes they are basically the same in appearance and function. They are interchangable but the bolt pattern for the conveter may be different, but the converters will switch over.
