2018 Mille Miglia
« on: May 20, 2018, 16:22:28 »
Just like to pass along the information that Tom Sargeant, our host at Ramsay for this year's PUB, finished this year's classic Mille Miglia race in Italy in 129th place out of the 440 cars finishing.   He was driving a 1957 Lancia Appia GTZ.  His friend, Steve Brooks (a 190SL Group member)  finished 149 driving a 1954 Oldsmobile 88 that originally competed in the event.  Steve had restored the car and it was featured on a FantomWorks TV episode.

Thanks to all for your kind words.  Another amazing event that I will never forget.  Attached is a finish line picture with our support team and my co-pilot Mary Catherine that many know from the European Events over the years.

That must have been such a blast. Well done!
Though I fear that MC's future husband might need very deep pockets to keep her in the style to which she's looking very accustomed... ;D
