Oh, my what a rewarding sight!

Hello all,
How many of you have removed the air intake cover, the flap and the filter to find a nice big fat mouse nest?
Seems all of the pagoda SL's I've worked on have a nest of some size in the same cavity.
Do the mice have a preference for our SL's over other cars?

Walt,

Mine didn't have any mice though there was quite an assortment of other unidentifiable debris, not to mention the cloged drains.  Looks good noe though.

Ah so that's why the cat likes to sit on the bonnet and stare at the old girl while she is in my shed!

Walt,

my car had the mouse nest, too!  When I first got it, my wife complained of being sprayed with grit from the air vent, so I opened it up and there was the nest in the passenger side air duct.  I think it was a fairly old nest.  The car was brought into the US in about 1980/81, but the nest included pieces from a German horse race betting guide.
