How much to charge for using my Pagoda in a movie?

In a couple of weeks, my neighborhood is going to be used as a backdrop for a movie set in the early 1970's.  The filmmakers have expressed interest in having my Pagoda parked in the background for some of the shots. 

Does anyone in the group have any experience with having their cars used in filmmaking?  I'd like to get some idea how much I should charge them for the use of my car.

I suspect you will find that they have a number in mind already and there will be little negotiating.  This is not their first rodeo.  I was thrilled to have my Bentley used in the movie Southpaw and the daily rate was substantial.  I had to sign a legal agreement but keep in mind they were driving the car.  I was allowed on set and it was a hoot.  I hope you can do it.  Just being around the set was worth it.  It was a bucket list item to me.  Good Luck

My cars have been used in movies, ads and commercials. I get about $600 per day and the agent probably gets the same or more. Since there is no agent involved $1,000 might be a good start. Ask if you can be an extra possibly driving your car through the shot. You'll get the base extra fee too.

Thanks, everybody, for your input.  I still don't know if they're going make an offer to use my car.  It may be too "upscale" for a typical American neighborhood in the early '70's.  At least I feel a bit more informed in case they do decide the want my car.
