Title: Autumn in Norway
Post by: knirk on September 29, 2004, 01:46:57
Hello.
Just moved to a small farm about 20 miles north west of Kristiansand on the sothern tip of Norway. My youngest daughter (14) got here wish come true as we now have two horses she can enjoy. The red barn will be my garage, after some work - so I am very happy.
It's getting colder up here so I put the hardtop on. Still some nice days to enjoy the Pagoda as well.

I think the barn will make a splendid garage!  Congrats on the new home.

Looks like a terrific place.
Went for a drive today here in Northern California and was thinking I might need to put on the top also.... probably not as cold as in Norway.

I seldom use the hardtop so figured I would leave it on for a while - the car looks great. The temperature goes below freezing at night, but still up to about 16 deg. celcius at noon.

Come on Per!
We all know you bought the barn for your pride and joy, the fact there is a house and room for horses is just a coincidence!
;)  :)
Congratulations

It's always a pleasure to see pictures from Scandinavia,(my wife comes from Finland!) especially with a pagoda, which is very very seldom up there, at least in Finland. Have you got an idea how many pagodas are in Norway, do you see some of them sometimes, is there a club?

Pierre,
The only Pagoda I have ever seen in this part of the country was Naj,s car when he visited Norway in june. I have no idea how many there are in Norway. No Pagoda clubs, but there is a Mercedes Benz club in Oslo.

Per,
When I lived in Stavanger, (1986-1990), there were only 4 Pagodas in Norway. I had a 250SL that I sold in 1989 to a gentleman that lived a few miles(Norwegian) north of Oslo.
It was a red automatic, black hard top and black interior. In the photo in my desk I can't make out the numbers on the number plate. I would be very interested to hear what has happened to my old car.
At that time there was a very active section of the Norge MB veterans club in Stavanger.
Norway is a beautiful place to drive with the top down.
Regards,
Stan

I thought people in Norway used sleds pulled by reindeer. Are there really cars there?
