The Story: One day Albert's brother Sergi (co-driver
in one of the pictures and 8 years younger) came to Albert's office. While was waiting, Sergi found an ad for this car in a
magazine...not a classic car magazine (it was to late for the PO to place the ad); it was a weekly magazine about current cars, it was the magazine that Albert works for! Very few people saw the ad because people usually look for older cars in classic car magazines.
The price was interesting and Albert's brother convinced him to see the car. (Albert had had no idea to buy a classic car at the time). When he saw it, Albert fell in love with "Pago"...and a few days later sold his '92 VW Corrado VR6 to buy "Pago"...a very good decision!
The first time Albert drove "Pago" on a twisty road, he was amazed at its handling. Albert bought the car thinking about relaxed driving...but now he loves cornering at speed!
Rally: Participated in Mercedes-Benz Classic Days (Luxembourg 2002) with Number 177 Rally Plate. Drove 2,848 km (1,780 miles) in the 6 days of the rally; finished in Fifth Place, Category Class 3.
Movie Star. This car appeared in many scenes in the 1995 Spanish film "Tiempos Mejores" (The Best Times) as the car of the featured star, a famous former "Torero"
